71st Annual Union County Christmas Parade

The 71st Union County Christmas Parade is coming November 24, 2024. Alliance for Children is excited to have this event as our annual fundraiser. The funds raised will help us continue to offer our services and programs to support Union County children 0-5 and their families and caregivers.

NC Pre-K enrolling 4 year old students for fall classes

Alliance for Children is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 NC Pre-K school year. NC Pre-K is designed to support 4-year old children academically, behaviorally and socially to prepare them for success in school and beyond. A recent report shows North Carolina’s NC Pre-K is once again rated among the highest in the nation. It is one of only six state programs to meet all 10 NIEER (National Institute of Early Education Research) quality preschool benchmarks. Read more
